While most remember Martha for her 1982 hit with The Weather Girls titled “It’s Raining Men”, she has been the voice behind several big hits. After the Weather Girls broke up, she provided vocals for all three of Black Box’s U.S. top-forty hits, including the top-ten hits “Everybody Everybody” and “Strike It Up,” as well as “I Don’t Know Anybody Else.” She is also the powerful voice behind C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” which skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991.

Now, the legendary Martha Wash is back with a brand new studio album titled Something Good. The 8-track LP features the beautiful ballad “I’ve Got You,” which was released as a single in 2011. If you’re looking for an album that will lift your spirits when you are feeling a little down, look no further thanSomething Good. It is absolutely fantastic. You can download the album on iTunes now. Martha released the record via her own label Purple Rose Records.
